    XVII Edition of the star festival in the Canary Islands

    Festival Mar Abierto celebrates its 17th anniversary in 2023 with a determined commitment by the festival to continue its regional programming with concerts in Gran Canaria, Tenerife, La Palma and La Gomera. After 16 years and more than 200 concerts on the Islands, Mar Abierto faces the next season with an ambitious program that would begin in April and conclude in December 2023, and that will maintain all the standards of quality and professionalism that it demands of us. the public, the sector and ourselves. Because Mar Abierto has already become an unavoidable event for the public that every year awaits the programming of the only festival in a cycle format in the Canary Islands and the sixth in Spain in terms of spectator attendance according to the latest Music Yearbook.

    In this edition we will have artists from different musical styles, a defining characteristic of Mar Abieto, in which we will be able to see established groups along with other emerging stars that have already made an impression on the public. The first three confirmed artists are Luz Casal, Guitarricadelafuente and Silvana Estrada. The full schedule will be announced soon.


    Finally, thank the collaborators and friends who have given invaluable support to keep this project running year after year. We hope and wish to continue counting on everyone's collaboration for future editions and projects.
